Quirky Florida-based country duo Jack Blanchard & Misty Morgan scored several hits in the late '60s and the first half of the '70s, exemplified by the deeply strange novelty tune Tennessee Bird Walk from 1970, but by 1975, the hits had dried up and Blanchard & Morgan were at the beginning of a long fallow period. Blanchard and Morgan were both born in the same Buffalo, New York hospital and lived in Ohio as children, but they did not meet until the 1960s, when both were working as musicians in Florida clubs.
