Remarques

Released in a standard jewel case witihin a longbox, with a 16 page (8x2 foldout) booklet including lyrics.

Release without longbox packaging is The Man Who Sold The World

First pressing of David Bowie's RYKO catalogue in USA. It was pressed by PDO.
No barcode on back cover of CD. This pressing was released only in a longbox with barcode on back.
Back of CD and longbox do not have "Sound+Vision" logo. It was added on subsequent reissues.
Back of longbox (lower, right corner) has ''Printed in Canada'' logo

Originally released 04 Nov 1970.

Track 10: Previously unreleased track from 1970.
Track 11: Sleeve mentions 'Single A-side from 1970'. However, this is incorrect. It is the 1973 re-recording, later released as a B-side in 1974. The credits shown here reflect this correction. On this release, Herbie Flowers is credited as producer, bass and guitar player which is incorrect for this version.
Tracks 12 & 13: Released as a single under the name Arnold Corns in 1971.IMPORTANT: If the matrix runout is not stamped (SR 61325-A- M2), it is not this original release.
The unofficial (counterfeit) came out in 1973 and has the etched matrix.
This came out after big success and desire for the rare (didn't sell much) Mercury sleeve.
When purchasing always ask, if machine stamped as there is much confusion with a convincing quality counterfeit (that is not rare).
The rear cover speech bubble "Oh by jingo" on an actual Mercury cover is very close to the lyrics above it (less than a lyric line space below the lyric "So softly a supergod cries (second times dies)" ), whereas on counterfeits the speech bubble is almost three line spaces below.Comes in a full-color 3-fold die-cut flyout sleeve - which opens to a circle.
