Текст песни: The floor was slimy and the air was thick and hot I hid in a booth and I tried to set up a cot Some of the movies didnt make any sense But you sure can have a lot of fun for 25 1 of an album that deserves much more exposure and praise. Black Randy and the Metrosquad was a punk rock band from the late 1970s and early 1980s in the Los Angeles punk scene. They gained notoriety not only for their surreal and smutty sense of humour, but also for their amalgamation of proto-punk, 1970s porn, pop, and avant-garde music. The band formed in Los Angeles in 1977 with Black Randy born John Morris, January 5, 1952 as frontman, David Brown on keyboards, and other members, including Pat Garrett, on guitar. However, the band had a rotating line. Black Randy Burger Records Frontier Records Pass The Dust I Think I'm Bowie Punk 1979 I Slept In An Arcade. I Slept in an Arcade. There seems to be at least two older vinyl pressings of this, and possibly sleeves. Re the record, there seem to be brown print and black print. My reason for believing this are popsike sales of both brown and black texts prior to any re-release. Less sure about the cover, but I believe the at least some of the older pressings are heavier paper and grey, textured, but the one pictured here seems to be white. Anyone have more info? Would be nice to get authoritative info on how to distinguish the originals and re-release... for one thing, the back side print seems to read bottom to top on the original backside, and top to bottom on the re-release, but I gather that just from the uploads
Good news & bad news:Good news is, I can confirm there are brown print on white label copies, as I just purchased a near mint copy today. Bad news is it was found without its jacket, so I have no info on that.
